Hops-A-Lot (A Knowledge Warren)

Founded in 2016, Hops-A-Lot has grown by “hops and bounds”. We are a small volunteer run organization that depends on the charity of the community to be able to provide our services. We have sanctuary rabbits in our care. We use 100% of collected funds to provide for the care and well being of these rabbits and educating the public about these amazing creatures and providing support to other rabbit rescues. We are a “KNOWLEDGE WARREN”. 

We work together

A knowledge source for rabbit fans, friends and enthusiasts.We welcome the sharing of information and ideas. We suport those that help rabbits recover and begin their journey to forever homes. 

We help people to our best ability

We cannot take a rabbits into our rescue. We do not have the facilities. This is heartbreaking for us. However, we cannot take on what we cannot support or do not have a space to accomodate. We will refer you to other rescues or intake facilities that are “no kill” in order to support you. 

“Warren”

A Warren is defined as “An underground system of interconnected tunnels “. We are dedicated to “connectingpeople and their bunnies in an effort to share knowledge and increase the general welfare of domestic rabbits. 

We protect the rabbits

We try to keep an accurate list of rabbit-savy clinics/vets and other resourcs available for you (Hops-A-Lot does not assume responsibility for the skill/ability of any facility or veterinarian). We encourage you to vaccinate against RHDV2 (please see information elsewhere on this site for more information) 
